In 1993 I began working at Tate St Ives as an Art handling Technician and subsequently as Curatorial Officer. This period of my life exposed me to the work of substantial professional artists such as Patrick Heron, Terry Frost, Sandra Blow, John Virtue, Anthony Gormley and many others.
From 1999, my professional focus shifted towards exhibitions and curating and I developed curatorial and exhibitions projects for museums and galleries for almost twenty years including; Pier Arts Centre, The Public, Bradford Museums and Galleries and Gallery Manager at Ryedale Folk Museum.
Since 2010 I have worked as a freelance artworker delivering exhibitions, art handling and technical services for a range of museums and galleries including;
- The National Railway Museum
- The North York Moors National Park
- Leeds City Museum
- Green Howards Museum
- Ferens Art Gallery
- Hull Maritime Museum
- Humber St Gallery
- Invisible Dust
- The Point, Doncaster
- Harrogate Museums and Galleries
